Concurso de fotografía pretende crear conciencia sobre la importancia del suelo para los seres vivos

Desde ya, jóvenes entre los 13 y 18 años pueden participar en el concurso de fotografía que pretende hacer énfasis en la importancia que tienen los suelos en el desarrollo del ser humano.

El concurso se hace por la declaración del 2015 como el Año internacional de la Importancia de los Suelos, por parte de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU).

En nuestro país, el evento es organizado por la Asociación Costarricense de la Ciencia del Suelo (ACCS) y será el inicio de las celebraciones que se lleven a cabo tras la declaración internacional.

Floria Bertsch, presidenta de la organización, dio resaltó la necesidad de generar conciencia entre los ciudadanos del futuro.

“El suelo forma parte de muchas de las actividades de sus vidas (…) por lo tanto, hay que quererlo y cuidarlo. Por eso, una de las mejores estrategias consiste en involucrar a los adolescentes en este esfuerzo”, señaló en un comunicado.

Los participantes se dividirán en dos categorías por edad, de 13 a 15 años y de 16 a 18 años.

La única fotografía por persona se puede enviar hasta el 4 de marzo a las 12 medianoche al correo electrónico accs.cia@ucr.ac.cr o info5@congresuelos.com.

Además, cada participante debe llenar el formulario que se encuentra en la página de organización. La decisión final de los ganadores estará a cargo de un jurado conformado por representantes del Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP), la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), la ACCS, y un fotógrafo profesional.

Quien gane el concurso Retrato los suelos de mi país, recibirá una tableta y una gira educativa con todos los compañeros de clase.
